# repay

participants can unlock all or a portion of their vault collateral by repaying fxToken debt.

this is done by burning fxTokens when you repay the debt in your [vault](https://app.handle.fi/vaults/multi/fxAUD/0x9A1B8688137dDbC67c3Be27BBD52f648Bc88B28c). after repaying your debt you will be able to withdraw your collateral.

at all times debt must be above 100 so if you wish to do a partial repayment keep in mind there will be an error if the remaining debt is less then 100.

\*a protocol fee of 0.0% is charged to burn fxTokens, withdrawn from a users vault collateral upon each burn.
