# trader incentive pool rewards (TIPR)

### 🏆overview

handle.fi **Trading Incentive Pool Rewards (TIPR)** are designed to incentivise and reward active handle traders and community members. 

handleDAO will initially allocate **100% of the protocol's trade fees** earned to the handle TIPR program. 

depending upon eligibilty traders will have the chance to be awarded up to the entire balance of the accrued TIPR.\

traders can see live TIPR balance in the header of the[ app ](https://v2.handle.fi)and can also track the TIPR balance at [handle.fi/tipr.html](https://www.handle.fi/tipr.html)

### 📜how does it work?

each epoch,  one trade (open or close) made on any CRYPTO at [v2.handle.fi](https://v2.handle.fi) will be randomly selected to potentially earn up to the entire available balance of handle's **Trader Incentive Pool Rewards**; the handleTIPR. 

current epochs are 8 hours hours in duration, with the winner selected at a random time window within that epoch. \
\
the first eligible trade placed at the correct time wins a share of the TIPR according to the [eligibility criteria](#eligibility-criteria) below.

### 📋 eligibility criteria

1. Only CRYPTO trades with a notional value > $500 USD will be eligible to receive any of the TIPR<br>
2. If the selected trade is greater than the $500 USD minimum \
   \
   **AND** the trader either;

* holds 500 veFOREX balance ([instructions here](https://docs.handle.fi/high-priority/governance-staking-veforex/obtain-fxusd-forex-bpt-and-lock-for-veforex)), **OR**
* a t0- trooper NFT ([OpenSea collection](https://opensea.io/collection/t0-troopers))&#x20;

**they will receive 100% of the available TIPR balance,**&#x20;

**otherwise** they will receive 25% of the available pool, and the balance will accrue to the next epoch!&#x20;

### 🥋how to participate:

1. start trading CRYPTO assets at [v2.handle.fi ](https://v2.handle.fi)
2. to be eligible for 100% of the TIPR you must meet the [eligibility criteria](#eligibility-criteria)
3. WINNERS will be notified immediately after their winning trade is filled - and receive ther TIPR directly depoited to their trade account.

### 🙅🏼‍♂️disqualification:

any attempt to manipulate or abuse the TIPR program  will result in immediate disqualification.

participants found violating the community guidelines, or the general spirit of TIPR program  will be disqualified at the protocols discretion.
