establishment of protocol controlled **'**[**fxKeeper**](https://app.handle.fi/earn)**'** pools allows for the rapid execution of [**CDP vault liquidations**](https://docs.handle.fi/liquidations) in the instance they become under collateralised and breach their [liquidation trigger](https://docs.handle.fi/definitions). \
\
fxKeeper pools contain fxToken assets staked by ecosystem participants.\
\
staked fxTokens are used for the purchase of liquidated vault collateral, and repayment of that vault's fxToken debt.\
\
fxKeeper pool stakers receive a share of any vault liquidation profits in **ETH**, as well as [**FOREX**](https://docs.handle.fi/tokens-and-governance/forex-tokens) rewards, which can be boosted based upon a users veFOREX balance.

\*a[ **liquidation fee**](https://docs.handle.fi/fees) is charged on the vault that is called for redemption.

### fxKeeper reward ecosystem

staking is single sided, so there no risk of [impermanent loss](https://docs.handle.fi/the-platform/definitions), and depositors receive both a share of liquidation profits and FOREX rewards.\
\
a step by step approach to providing **fxKeeper** pool liquidity and earn $FOREX rewards:
